Anthony Joshua stops Kevin Johnson with stunning second-round KO
Anthony Joshua was at his devastating best as he became the first man to stop Kevin Johnson.
More appropriately, he demolished the American inside two rounds and might feel he was forced to work too long.
This
fight could, perhaps should, have been stopped in the first, when
Johnson, a 36-fight veteran, sagged against the ropes and took a count.
At
the close of the round, he was again smashed to the ground by a series
of huge punches. By then it was clear he was no match for an Olympic
champion who is yet to see the fourth round of a fight.
